Labtec (Services) Ltd was established in 1991 to provide a comprehensive service in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of Control Panels.

Manufacturing premises were set up in Nelson Park, Cramlington, Northumberland and work was undertaken for a number of customers in both manufacturing and commissioning. February 2002 saw us move into purpose built premises on the Kitty Brewster Trading Estate in Blyth, Northumberland

All of our Control Panels are designed and built to match precisely our client's requirements with due regard being placed on the importance of operating environment, maintainability and availability of spares.

Our Engineers are experienced in the design and manufacture of control systems from small enclosures housing hard wired relay logic and DOL Contactors, up to multi-compartment 'Form 4' MCC's with control from multi-rack PLC's and sophisticated operator interface panels.

We are experienced with the many peripherals and drive types as well as being familiar with a wide range of control gear manufacturers products. We are not tied to any particular manufacturer which enables us to provide systems which are convenient for the end user to maintain rather than being convenient for us to build.

We recognise the importance of after sales service and are committed to providing the best on-site or telephone support subsequent to commissioning.

We achieved ISO9001 certification in Jan 2001.

We are also an Investor in People company and are actively working towards improving the effectiveness of our employees.

Both the ISO9001 and Investor in People approval are designed to give customers the added security of knowing that their order is not only being processed properly at all stages of manufacture but that the work is being carried out by properly trained staff whose skill level is being closely re-assessed to ensure continuous improvement.

Our commitment to service is enhanced by these approvals and we are determined to build on the work already done by developing our training plans, continuous self assessment and and involvement of the whole team in the development of the company.
